I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University at Albany, SUNY, working in the Computer Vision and Machine Learning (CVML) Lab under the supervision of Prof. Ming-Ching Chang. My research focuses on multimodal artificial intelligence, computer vision, and medical image analysis.
My goal is to develop intelligent systems that integrate visual perception and multimodal reasoning to analyze complex real-world data. My work spans several areas, including cardiac medical image analysis, biomedical behavior understanding, and efficient multimodal large language models. In medical imaging, I develop deep learning models for cardiac MRI segmentation and disease classification, including the IntelliCardiac platform for automated cardiac analysis. I also study scalable multimodal reasoning by designing efficient token pruning techniques for video-language models.
